2021年9月9日下午，中國造紙協會生活用紙專業委員會主任曹振雷博士走訪了佛山市新飛衛生材料有限公司（以下簡稱“佛山新飛”），與佛山新飛董事長穆范飛等進行了深入交流。
2021年9月1-3日在廈門舉行的中國衛生用品行業發展大會上，佛山新飛分享了題為《衛生用品用綠色、環保新材料》的推介報告，與本次大會主題“綠色低碳助力行業高質量轉型升級”相契合。曹主任聽取報告后，決定走訪新飛，進一步了解正在推廣的新品材料：無溶劑離型紙，及熱封無塑生態包裝紙替代衛生巾小包膜和底膜的進展情況。
在穆范飛董事長的陪同下，曹主任參觀了佛山新飛的生活、生產廠區、實驗室、生產車間，實地了解新材料的生產、研發情況。在隨后的座談交流中，穆范飛董事長向曹主任簡要介紹了新飛發展歷程以及目前新型綠色低碳材料的研發探索。穆董介紹，無溶劑環保離型紙具有環保低碳、安全、產品質量性能提升等特點。據計算，因無溶劑離型紙生產過程中不需要使用溶劑120#汽油，從而可以每噸節約碳排放約450kg，折合為衛生巾（280mm）用量后，每百萬片衛生巾可以節約碳排放約265.77kg；熱封無塑生態包裝紙屬于紙類無塑材料，具有可再生、
